Bathrooms and en-suites in Blackpool

Our bathrooms and en-suites service covers Blackpool and the rest of Lancashire. You get a fixed price in writing for the agreed specification, and one person co-ordinating the trades.

Covering Blackpool

Blackpool sits 15 miles west of Preston, with Thornton-Cleveleys 4 miles to the north and Lytham St Annes 6 miles to the south-east.

Homes in the North West

The North West has long rows of Victorian terraced houses in its towns and cities, alongside inter-war semis and post-war estates, so rear extensions, dormer lofts and kitchen extensions are common projects.

What is included in bathroom installation in Blackpool?

Most bathroom problems come from poor waterproofing and ventilation, so we tank wet areas, fit extraction that actually clears steam, and check water pressure before choosing showers. All electrics in bathrooms are done to the special-location rules.

  • Design and layout
  • Strip-out and disposal
  • Plumbing and waste alterations

What will bathroom installation cost?

Use these ranges to budget for bathrooms and en-suites; the survey turns them into a fixed price for the agreed specification.

Bathrooms and en-suitesGuide price incl. VAT
En-suite or shower room£5,500 to £10,000
Family bathroom refit£7,000 to £12,000
Premium bathroom or wet room£12,000 to £20,000

What approvals does bathroom installation need in England?

In England we deal with the council’s planning team for permission or a lawful development certificate, with building control (the council or a registered building control approver) for inspections, and with neighbours under the Party Wall etc. Act 1996 where it applies.

Bathroom refits do not need planning permission. Electrical work in bathrooms is notifiable in many cases, and new bathrooms need ventilation that meets building regulations.

What should I think about before starting?

  • Low water pressure limits the choice of shower; a pump or unvented cylinder may be needed.
  • Moving a toilet depends on the soil pipe route.

From first call to completion

  1. Tell us about the project. Call, use the guide price tool or send the form with a few photos and a postcode.
  2. Survey at your house. We look at the existing structure, services and access, and agree what the design needs to achieve.
  3. Price and paperwork. The design is priced line by line, and we submit the planning and building control applications.
  4. Build and hand over. Our teams build to the programme, building control inspects, and you get the completion paperwork at the end.
