Covering Kirkby
Kirkby is about 6 miles north-east of Liverpool. We also cover Maghull (3 miles to the north-west), Litherland and Prescot.
Homes in the North West
Terraced housing is a defining feature of many North West towns, which brings party walls and narrow access into most projects, with more space to extend on suburban semis.
What goes into kitchen installation?
A good kitchen fit is mostly preparation: straight walls, level floors, services in the right place and an extraction route that works. Our teams handle the full sequence including electrics and gas connections by suitably registered engineers.
- Design and layout check
- Removal and disposal of the old kitchen
- Units, worktops, sink and appliance fitting
How much should I budget for kitchen installation?
Guide prices for kitchen installation, including VAT where it applies. Your fixed price is confirmed in writing after the survey.
| Kitchen installation | Guide price incl. VAT |
|---|---|
| Fit only (your units) | £3,000 to £7,000 |
| Supply and fit, mid-range | £10,000 to £20,000 |
| Supply and fit, high-end | £20,000 to £40,000 |
How is kitchen installation approved in Kirkby?
English projects need planning clearance from the local council, building regulations sign-off from building control, and party wall notices where the work is on or near a shared boundary. We prepare and manage all three.
A new kitchen does not need planning permission. Some electrical work must be notified under building regulations, and gas work must be done by a Gas Safe registered engineer.
What should I think about before starting?
- Moving the sink may need a new waste route or pump.
- Induction hobs often need a dedicated circuit.
What happens after I enquire?
- Start with a conversation. A short call or the online form is enough for us to understand what you want to build.
- Survey at your house. We look at the existing structure, services and access, and agree what the design needs to achieve.
- Design and fixed price. You get drawings and a written price for the agreed specification before anything is ordered.
- Construction and completion. One site lead co-ordinates every trade through to the building control certificate.
