Kitchen installation in Brighton

If you live in Brighton and want kitchen installation, we can take the whole job off your hands, from measuring the house to handing over a finished room.

Covering Brighton

Alongside Brighton, we also cover Hove (1 miles to the west), Rottingdean and Burgess Hill.

Homes in the South East

Housing across the South East mixes inter-war semis, post-war estates and older cottages in villages and market towns, so rear and side extensions, hip-to-gable lofts and garage conversions all come up regularly.

What goes into kitchen installation?

Kitchen installation covers removing the old kitchen, preparing the room, fitting new units and worktops, connecting plumbing and appliances, and finishing with tiling and flooring. We supply kitchens or fit ones you have bought.

  • Removal and disposal of the old kitchen
  • Plastering and making good
  • Units, worktops, sink and appliance fitting

What will kitchen installation cost?

Indicative costs for kitchen installation. London and the South East usually sit towards the top of each range.

Kitchen installationGuide price incl. VAT
Fit only (your units)£3,000 to £7,000
Supply and fit, mid-range£10,000 to £20,000

What approvals does kitchen installation need in England?

Projects in England go through two separate checks. Planning (or confirmation that the work is permitted development) comes from the district, borough or unitary council, and building regulations approval comes from the council’s building control team or a registered building control approver. Where work touches a shared wall or digs near a neighbour’s foundations, the Party Wall etc. Act 1996 applies.

A new kitchen does not need planning permission. Some electrical work must be notified under building regulations, and gas work must be done by a Gas Safe registered engineer.

What can change the price or programme?

  • Induction hobs often need a dedicated circuit.
  • Extraction ducted outside works far better than recirculation.
